NEW MEGANE CC

The Renault Megane CC will be available in spring 2010, replacing the old Megane CC was traded in 2003.

Seventh body of the Mégane family (three-door ("Cut"), five-door and station wagon ("Sports Tourer")) and under different surnames, such as four-door sedan "Fluence" and the Scenic MPV "and" Grand Scenic.

The Megane CC is an alternative to models like the Ford Focus Coupe-Cabriolet, Opel Astra Twin Top, Peugeot 308 CC and Volkswagen Eos, among others.

It has a metal roof with a glazed area of 0.47 m². It folds into two parts in 21 seconds or one second gained over the previous generation.

To avoid turbulence in the cabin when driving "convertible" or rather "détoité" is not French but I like it has a "glass cutting wind" behind the rear headrests. Renault announced that four people can comfortably travel without feeling the backwash of 90 km / h.
It is available with six engines, depending on markets. There are three petrol -1.6 16v 110 hp, 130 hp and 2.0 16V TCE 140 hp and three diesel engines - dCi 110, 130 and 160 hp. All are associated with a gearbox six-speed manual, with the exception of gasoline 140 hp with a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT), but a new box appeared, dual-clutch automatic (EDC) to seven-speed DSG system similar to Volkswagen.
The Megane CC will be presented at the Geneva Motor Show 2010 (2-14 March 2010). It will be manufactured at Renault plant in Douai (France).
