Chicken Blésotto

Blésotto Chicken
Preparation: 20 min
Cooking time: 30 minutes
Serves 6
300 g of wheat to bake
500 g skinless chicken breasts
2 onions
1 red pepper
150 g frozen peas
1 small can of sweetcorn
2 tablespoons olive oil
1. Cut the chicken into pieces. Peel and chop onions. Open the peppers. Remove seeds and white threads, then cut it into cubes.
2. Heat oil in a skillet or wok. Give Brown the chicken breasts 5 minutes, turning. Add salt, then set aside. Replace them with the onions. Let them melt over low heat 2 minutes. Add the diced peppers. Continue cooking 5 minutes, stirring. Add chicken pieces and cook the wheat. Moisten with 50 ounces of boiling salted water. Cook 10 minutes covered on low heat. Add the frozen peas and sweet corn kernels, drained. Continue cooking for 10 minutes, still covered, and heat.
3. At the end of cooking, baking wheat has absorbed all the liquid. Serve hot.

You can use whole wheat (Ebly type) or cracked (bulgur or type pilpil). These three products provide complex carbohydrates, an excellent source of energy for children, as well as fibers, essential for the regulation of transit.
